97 teams from the city’s biggest businesses took to the start line but it was Morgan Stanley 3 that took the title, completing the 10 laps of the one-mile course in a time of 50:55 – they are the ‘fastest firm in the city’!
Competing fiercely for the top spot was Citi 1 in second place with a time of 51:31 and Jump Trading in third place with a time of 53:38. American Express took the Fastest Mixed Team with a time of 57:40. Mastercard 1 were the winners of the Fastest Female Team award, with a time of 1:12:19.
Individually, the fastest runners on the night were Anastasia Dmitrienko and Milan Duka.
This year the Bloomberg Square Mile Relay will take place in fourteen cities across the world! The baton is now being handed to Green Festival Seattle who race on 12th July.

New York - The Extra Mile
Global Community. Local impact.
Every participant in the race will be able to make an impact through our community program, The Extra Mile. The Extra Mile addresses unique social challenges in communities where we live and work, through three philanthropy pillars: Education, Public Health and Social Justice & Equality.
Every mile run will contribute towards raising a USD$30,000 donation by the end of the event, which will help 9/11 Memorial & Museum to deliver educational opportunities through their annual 5km walk/run and year round programming, preserving its significance as a sacred place of remembrance, reflection and learning for a new generation. An opportunity that will only continue to grow in importance as more and more Americans and people around the world grow up without 9/11 as a lived experience, but rather as history learned.
In 2023, the donations helped the 9/11 Memorial & Museum reach over 5,098 people across their professional programmes, hold student field trips or tours for over 6817 young people and deliver public programmes to 1291 participants.
We also encourage all participants to Go The Extra Mile beyond their participation, and register for our free-to-access Square Mile Club, where every point earned through your activity will further contribute to making a lasting and tangible impact at a global level.
