バーチャルクラブアプリはもうダウンロードされましたか?

バーチャルクラブアプリをダウンロードすると、バーチャルクラブのさまざまな機能を活用したり、仲間と簡単につながることができます。AppleAndroidのどちらのデバイスでもアプリをご利用いただけます。

バーチャルクラブにすでに登録されている方は、登録済みのアカウント情報でアプリにログインできます。まだ登録がお済みでない方は、アプリから登録可能です。

どうすればポイントを獲得できますか?

日々のウォーキングやランニングを通してポイントを獲得することができます。また、バーチャルレースやウィークリーチャレンジに参加するとボーナスポイントが付与されます。詳細はヘルプページ(英語)をご覧ください。

バーチャルラン(またはバーチャルウォーク)では、実際には何をするのですか?

バーチャルラン(またはバーチャルウォーク)は、通常のランニングと同じですが、好きな場所で、そして、自分のペースで走ることができます。室内のランニングマシーンで走るのもよし、天気がよければ外に出てランニングコースや公園を走るのもよいかもしれません。バーチャルクラブはメンバー向けにさまざまなバーチャルレースやバーチャルチャレンジをご用意しています。是非ご参加ください。

どうすればバーチャルクラブに参加できますか?

ブルームバーグ スクエア・マイル・リレーとバーチャルクラブに登録してください。新規ご登録の際は、公式ウェブサイト(www.squaremilerelay.com/virtual-club) で「Sign Up」をクリックしてください。すでにご登録がお済みの方は「Log In」を押してください。なお、バーチャルクラブのウェブサイトは英語のみとなります。ご了承ください。

バーチャルクラブには誰が参加できますか?

企業にお勤めの方であれば、会社名を登録すれば誰でもバーチャルクラブに参加することができます。ブルームバーグ スクエア・マイル・リレーに参加したことがない方もバーチャルクラブに参加できますが、新たに参加される企業の場合、登録内容をこちらで確認させていただきます。

ログインや登録の際にエラーが発生しました。どうすればよいですか?

エラーが発生した場合やエラー画面が表示された場合には、ログインまたは登録の手続きをはじめからやり直してください。同じ問題が何度も発生する場合には、お手数ですがエラー画面のスクリーンショットをメールで[email protected]までお送りください。こちらで調査いたします。

参加資格とレースルール

チームキャプテンは、チームメンバー全員が参加資格を満たし、レースルールを守って本イベントに参加するよう徹底してください。

参加規則

  1. 各チームは通常10名のランナーで構成されますが、最小8名での参加が認められます。8名のチームの場合、2名のメンバーがそれぞれ追加の1ラップ(コース2周 = 1ラップ)を走り、チーム全体で10ラップを完走します。なお、各ランナーの走行距離は2ラップ(コース4周)が上限です。
  2. 各参加者がランナーとして参加できるのは、1回のレースにつき1チームのみです。また、参加できるのはレース当日の時点で20歳以上の方に限ります。
  3. チームメンバーの8名以上が参加を申し込む企業の社員または職能団体や学会の会員でなければなりません。チームメンバーの8名以上が同じ企業/団体/学校のドメイン のメールアドレスを使って登録しなければなりません。8名以上が同じ企業/団体/学校のドメインのメールアドレスを持っていない場合、社員証や学生証などの身分証明書を事前に提示していただきます。
  4. 社員、並びに、会員数が20名に満たない企業/職能団体/学会の場合、社員、並びに、会員数が20名に満たない他の1組織と共同でチームを結成することができますが、参加メンバーの半数以上が参加申込み組織所属していなければなりません。
  5. レースカテゴリーは、自由構成(オープン)、男女混合、女性の3つのカテゴリーです。上記の参加要件1~4はすべてのカテゴリーに適用されます。
  6. どのチームも自由構成チームとしての参加資格を有します。
  7. 男女混合チームとして参加するには、1ラップ以上を走る4名以上の女性と1ラップ以上を走る1名以上の男性をメンバーとして必ず登録してください。残りのメンバーの性別は問いません。
  8. 女性チームとして参加するには、ランナー全員が女性でなければなりません。
  9. 最もタイムの速い自由構成カテゴリーの上位3チーム、男女混合カテゴリーの上位1チーム、女性カテゴリーの上位1チームがレース終了後に表彰されます。なお、何らかの理由でレースが途中で終了した場合、5ラップ以上を完走したチームのみが表彰対象となります。

レースルール

  1. 各チームのランナー1人ひとりが1ラップ(1マイル、約1.6km)の指定コースを走り、チーム全体で10ラップ(10マイル、 約1.6km)を完走しなければなりません。
  2. ランナーが1ラップ(仲通りの指定コースを2周)を完走しなかった場合、10分のペナルティータイムが加算されます。例えば、ランナーが1周目を3分で走り、2周目を走ることを怠った場合、そのランナーの1ラップのタイムは13分となります。
  3. 同じチームのランナーが同時にコース内を走ることはできません。
  4. レース中に走らずに歩く場合は、他のランナーの妨げとならないよう必ずコースの端を歩いてください。
  5. バトンにはタイム測定チップが搭載されています。バトンはレース待機場所の向かい側にある所定の受け渡しゾーンで、同じチームのメンバーに必ず手渡ししてください。バトンを投げたり、転がしたり、蹴って渡すことはルール違反です。
  6. バトンを次のランナーに渡した後はその場から速やかに離れ、フィニッシュエリアに移動してください。最終ランナーはレース終了後、チームバトンをゴール地点にいるスタッフに必ずお渡しください。
  7. レース中、各ランナーはゼッケン番号がはっきりと見えるようにゼッケンをTシャツまたはベストの前面に付けてください。

レース結果に関するイベント主催者の決定は最終決定であり、異議申し立てはできません。

イベントの内容を教えてください。

チームビルディングを目的とした企業対抗のリレーイベントです。

レース後は、アフターパーティも開催され、参加者の皆さんとの交流もお楽しみいただけます。レースでは、1チーム10名のランナーがそれぞれ1マイル(約1.6km)をリレー形式で走ります。10マイル(約1.6km)の合計タイムが最も速いチームが勝者となります。

チームメンバーが揃っていないのですが、申し込みはできますか。

はい、可能です。エントリーの際には、代表者のご登録とチームエントリー費用のお支払い手続きが必要です。お支払い後に、チームプロフィールページでチームメンバー全員(10名)を登録することができます。

参加条件を教えてください。

企業、職能団体、学会のいずれかのお申し込みのみ受け付けております。詳しい参加条件についてはページ上部をご覧ください。レースに参加しないご同僚、ご友人、ご家族の方も是非応援にお越しください。

どのような賞が用意されていますか。

5つの賞が用意されています。最もタイムの速かったチームには優勝トロフィーが贈呈されます。また、2位と3位のチーム、最もタイムの速かった男女混合チームと女性チームにもトロフィーをご用意しています。

チームメンバーが10名集まらない場合はどうすればよいですか。

ランナーが10名に達しない場合、本イベントに参加できません。ただし、イベント当日に病気やケガなどのやむを得ない事情が発生した場合、8名以上であればレースに参加することができます。この場合、2名のメンバーが2回出走し、8名で10マイルを完走してください。1名が走れる上限は2マイルまでとなります。不出場の場合でもエントリー費用は返金されませんので、イベント間近での欠員に備え、事前に補欠メンバーを確保しておくことをお勧めします。

なお、チームメンバーの8名以上が参加を申込む企業の社員、または職能団体の会員、登録する学校の職員・生徒でなければなりません。社員数が20名に満たない企業の場合、社員数が20名に満たない他の企業1社と共同でチームを結成することができますが、参加メンバーの半数以上が参加申込企業の社員でなければなりません。(詳細については参加条件をご参照ください。) メンバーを登録する際には、所属先の企業/職能団体/学会のドメインのメールアドレスをお使いください。それ以外のメールアドレスを使われますと、登録企業/職能団体/学会に所属しているという証拠の提示を事前に求めることがありますのでご留意ください。

本ルールが守られない場合、イベント主催者の判断により、申し込みの取り消しや、イベント後に失格扱いにすることがあります。

男女混合チームの参加条件を教えてください。

男女混合チームとしてエントリーするには、女性4名以上と男性1名以上の登録が必要です。残りのメンバーの性別は問いません。

参加申込み後の流れを教えてください。

オンライン登録を完了すると支払い手続きのページに移ります。お支払いが完了すると、入金の確認、チームプロフィールページのログイン情報、チームメンバーの招待方法、オンラインでの免責事項への同意手続きをメールでその都度ご案内します。チームキャプテンは免責事項への同意手続きを行うとともに、チームメンバー全員が免責事項に同意していることを確認してください。免責事項にご同意いただけないメンバーがいる場合、レースに参加できません。

レースパックはいつ発送されますか。

レース詳細を記載したレースパックはレース本番の1週間前までにメールで送信されます。メールが確実に届くよう、チームプロフィールページで登録したメールアドレスに誤りがないことを確認してください。また、バトンとゼッケンは当日受付時にお渡しします。チームキャプテンは、チームプロフィールページで登録した走順通りに各メンバーにゼッケンを渡してください。

レースパックには何が含まれますか。

デジタルレースパックには、イベントの情報、コースマップ、当日のスケジュールなどの情報が記載されています。 チームバトン、ゼッケン、荷物預かり票、お食事・ドリンクチケット、は、レース当日の受付の際にチームキャプテンに手渡されます。

レースパックが届きません。どうしたらよいですか。

デジタルレースパックはレースの1週間前にメールで送信されます。レースバックが届かない場合には、ブルームバーグ スクエア・マイル・リレー担当チームまでメール([email protected])でご連絡ください。レースパックを再送するか、URLをお知らせします。

免責事項に同意していないメンバーがいます。どうしたらよいですか。

チームメンバー全員がプロフィールページで免責事項に同意しない限り、本イベントにはご参加いただけません。また、チームキャプテンはランナーの氏名を正しい走順で送信しなければなりません。免責事項に同意していないメンバーがいる場合、イベント当日に受付手続きを完了することができません。ランナー全員が免責事項に同意した時点で受付手続が完了し、レースバトンをお渡しすることができます。

レースの1週間前にランナー全員にレースの注意事項が記載されたレースパックがメールで送られます。なお、ゼッケンとバトンは、レース当日受付にてチームキャプテンに渡されます。

When and where is it taking place?

The Bloomberg Square Mile Relay Dubai 2022 will take place on Wednesday, 9th February. The race starts and finishes in front of the Gate Building at Dubai International Finance Centre (DIFC).

What are the changing facilities?

There are no changing rooms on-site so we recommend that runners arrive ready to run. There will be toilets with cubicles, and a baggage tent where you can leave your bags during the race should you need to.

What time do we need to be there on the night?

Team captains should expect to arrive at 5:00pm on the day to register and collect their team’s race bibs (please note that it is only the nominated team captain who can register the team). Team members will need to arrive by 6:00pm, to be ready for the important race briefing at 6.30pm, followed by the race start at 7:00pm.

How do I get to the Race Village?

Bus: Emirates Towers MS Landside Bus Station: Service # 27, 29. Taxi: Drop-off point at DIFC Gate Building 5 entrance. Metro: Emirates Towers Metro Station, Exit 1, Sheikh Zayed Road (North). Parking: Public parking available in close proximity. Note: Access to the Race Village via The Gate Building is not possible.

What are the Team Eligibility and Race Rules for the Dubai race?

TEAM ELIGIBILITY RULES

  1. Each team should consist of 10 participants, but the minimum number of participants per team is 6 - in this situation, 4 participants must run another lap each in order for the team to complete all 10 laps. No participant is permitted to run more than 2 laps.
  2. If any runners need to do 2 laps, these can NOT be consecutive due to the separate start / finish area.
  3. Participants are permitted to run in only one team at any given race and must be at least 18 years of age on the race date.
  4. A minimum of 6 individual participants in each team must be employed by the corporation or be a member of the professional organisation or learned society entering the race – verification of eligibility must be provided upon request.
  5. If a corporation has less than 20 employees or members, they are able to group together with one other corporation that also has less than 20 employees or members in order to form a team, but at least half of the participants in the team must be employees or members from the registered corporation.
  6. There are 3 different team categories in the race: Overall, Mixed and Team Eligibility Rules 1-4 apply to all 3 categories.
  7. All teams will be eligible for the Overall
  8. To be eligible for the Mixed category, a team will need to consist of at least 4 individual female participants, running a minimum of one lap each, and at least 1 male participant, running at least one lap – the rest of the team can be filled with either gender.
  9. To be eligible for the Female category, a team will need to consist of female participants only.
  10. The fastest 3 Overall teams, the fastest Mixed team and the fastest Female team will be awarded after the race has finished, but if the race needs to be stopped for any reason the awards will only be presented to teams that have completed at least 5 laps.

 

RACE RULES

  1. Every team must complete 10 laps of the designated one-mile (1.6km) course.
  2. Participants are required to display their race bib clearly throughout the race on the front of their t-shirt or vest as it contains their race timing chip and will need to be scanned prior to crossing the start line.
  3. Participants must start the race in their correct start wave, as per the team’s running order (1-10) assigned by the Team Captain, to ensure correct personal and team timing.
  4. Should participants wish to walk instead of run during their lap, always keep to the side of the course to prevent blocking other participants.
  5. After finishing a lap, participants must immediately move into the Finish Area, put a mask back on, and not stop until they have exited the area.

What will the event format be?

For the health and safety of all our participants and staff, we will be employing a Time Trial event format this year to reduce contact between team members and other teams, so there will be no team batons or race pens.

Here are some key things to note:

  • Every participant will be given a race bib by their team captain with a built-in timing chip.
  • There will be a separate start and finish line, with participants setting off on the one mile (1.61km) route in 10 separate start waves, one for each runner in a team.
  • Each wave will start at a pre-allocated time and will be called forward in socially distanced lines, pulsed out from the start line at fixed intervals.
  • A team’s 10 individual lap times will be added together to give them a 10-lap (10-mile) team time that will be displayed on the race leaderboard.
  • Each team should consist of 10 participants, but the minimum number of participants per team is 6 - in this situation, 4 participants must run a second lap each for the team to complete all 10 laps (see ‘Team Eligibility & Race Rules’ FAQ for full details).

What COVID-19 regulations do you have in place?

Although the Race Organiser can’t remove all risks associated with the virus due to the nature of the event, they have put measures in place and will be following enhanced procedures to reduce the risk as much as possible.

As COVID-19 regulations are frequently changing the Race Organiser will communicate details of the coronavirus mitigations closer to the event, however, as a minimum the Event will be in line with the Dubai's Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management updated precautionary measures for events, which includes mask wearing at all times unless engaged with a sports activity.

Other measures the Race Organisers are putting in place in addition to the Dubai's Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management updated precautionary measures include:

  • Maintaining appropriate social distancing whenever possible;
  • Providing hand sanitizer and masks around venue;
  • Health & Safety Officer approval of all preventive and precautious measures;
  • Creation of a Time Trial event format to reduce contact between team members and other team.

Will there be an After-Party?

After taking into consideration the health and safety of all our participants, guests, staff and stakeholders, we have made the decision not to host an ‘Official After Party’ this year that usually takes place in a third-party venue within the DIFC. However, participants will still be able to enjoy the ‘After-Party’ in the Race Village where there will be music and first-class hospitality for all participants, including a main meal, dessert and soft drinks as part of their entry package.

Can spectators come into the Race Village?

Spectators are not encouraged to attend in order to ensure all our participants can maintain social distancing where possible and there will be no hospitality packages (meals or soft drinks) available to purchase. However, everyone who needs to enter into the Race Village must adhere to our COVID-19 mitigation measures - See “What COVID-19 regulations do you have in place?” FAQ.

Will there be a race in Hong Kong in 2022?

Unfortunately, the race will not be returning to Hong Kong this year, but we would be excited to include the city as part of our Global Series once again in 2023. Keep an eye on our website for further updates and developments.

I was a Team Captain when the last race was postponed, what happens next?

All Team Captains that had an entry into the previous race before it was postponed have been emailed. Your entry will be automatically rolled over to the next race and there is no need to do anything further at this stage. We will be in touch with more details as plans develop for the return of the relay in Hong Kong next year.

 

​When and where is it taking place?

The Bloomberg Square Mile Relay London 2022 will take place on Thursday 22nd September. The race starts and finishes at Guildhall Yard, London, EC2V 7HH and is easily accessible by public transport. The nearest underground stations are Bank, Moorgate, Mansion House and St Paul’s.

​What are the changing facilities?

There are no changing rooms on-site so we recommend that runners arrive ready to run. There will be toilets with cubicles, and a baggage tent where you can leave your bags during the race should you need to.

What time do we need to be there on the night?

Team captains should arrive from 5.45pm on the day to register and collect their team’s baton. Please note that it is only the nominated team captain who can register the team. Team members need to arrive from 6:15pm

​What roads will be closed?

A number of roads in the city will be closed for a limited period. Road closures will be implemented from 18:30 until 20:45. Street parking will also be suspended. Please refer to the course page and the following list of roads that will be affected: Gresham Street, Noble Street, Wood Street, Love Lane, Aldermanbury and Aldermanbury Square, as well as King Street and Milk Street. Vehicles and pedestrians will be facilitated across the route (not along the route) at specific crossing points prior to the race. Once the race has started vehicles will not be permitted to cross until the final runner has passed and pedestrians should cross at specific crossing points where possible.

Will there be a race in Mumbai in 2022?

Unfortunately, the race will not be returning to Mumbai this year, but we would be excited to include the city as part of our Global Series once again in 2023. Keep an eye on our website for further updates and developments.

All Team Captains that had an entry into the previous race before it was postponed have been emailed. Your entry will be automatically rolled over to the next race and there is no need to do anything further at this stage. When will the next race take place in New York?

We are delighted to announce the Bloomberg Square Mile Relay will be returning to New York on Wednesday 15th June!

The race will be exclusively for Bloomberg clients.

What are the Team Eligibility and Race Rules for the New York race?

TEAM ELIGIBILITY RULES

  4. Your race baton contains your timing chip. Participants can only pass the baton by hand to their own team members, in the transition area, opposite the race pens - throwing, rolling or kicking the baton is not allowed.
  5. After handing the baton to their team member, the participant must immediately move into the Finish Area. The last participant must return their team baton to staff in the finish area.
  6. Each participant is required to display their bib number clearly throughout the race on the front of their t-shirt or vest.

No appeals are allowed. The Race Organiser’s decision is final.

Can spectators come into the Race Village?

Spectators are welcome, but please ensure you are not displaying any COVID-19 symptoms and are following government advice.

Will there be an After-Party?

Participants will be able to enjoy the ‘After-Party’ in the Race Village where there will be music and first-class hospitality for all participants, including a main meal, dessert and drinks as part of their entry package.

Will there be a race in San Francisco in 2022?

Unfortunately, the race will not be returning to San Francisco this year, but we would be excited to include the city as part of our Global Series once again in 2023. Keep an eye on our website for further updates and developments.

What time do we need to be there on the night?

Team captains should arrive from 5:30pm on the day to register and collect their team’s race pack, which includes team baton and race bibs.

Please note that it is only the nominated team captain who can register the team. We will take whoever registered the team as the captain unless we are told otherwise.  

Team members need to arrive by 6pm. At 6:30pm a warm-up will take place with the race starting at 7pm. Please note all times are subject to change.

What are the changing facilities?

There are no changing facilities on-site, but there is a place where you can store a small bag during the race.

​Can spectators buy food and drinks on the night?

Spectators are encouraged to come along to cheer on runners in the race and enjoy the atmosphere in the Race Village.

​When and where is it taking place?

The 2022 Bloomberg Square Mile Relay in Singapore will be taking place on Thursday 13th October at The Promontory, 11 Marina Blvd.

What are the changing facilities?

There will be toilets and baggage storage on site, but it is recommended that runners arrive ready to run! Please check the weather forecast and bring appropriate clothing for the weather.

What time do we need to be there on the night?

Team Captains may be expected to arrive from 5.00pm on the day to register and collect their team’s baton. Please note, it is only the nominated team captain who can register the team. We will take whoever registered the team as the captain unless we are told otherwise. Team members need to arrive from 6.00pm. A warm-up will take place before the race is due to start at 7.00pm.

​Can spectators buy food and drinks on the night?

Spectators are encouraged to come along to cheer on runners in the race and enjoy the atmosphere in the Race Village. Food and drink will be available for all colleagues, friends and family to purchase in advance on the website, or from the hospitality voucher booth on race day.

What are the Team Eligibility and Race Rules for the Singapore race?

TEAM ELIGIBILITY RULES

  1. Each team should consist of 10 participants, but the minimum number of participants per team is 8 - in this situation, 2 participants must run another lap each in order for the team to complete all 10 laps. No participant is permitted to run more than 2 laps.
  2. Participants are permitted to run in only one team at any given race and must be at least 18 years of age on the race date.
  3. A minimum of 8 individual participants in each team must be employed by the corporation or be a member of the professional organisation or learned society entering the race – verification of eligibility must be provided upon request.
  4. If a corporation has less than 20 employees or members, they are able to group together with one other corporation that also has less than 20 employees or members in order to form a team, but at least half of the participants in the team must be employees or members from the registered corporation.
  5. There are 3 different team categories in the race: Overall, Mixed and Team Eligibility Rules 1-4 apply to all 3 categories.
  6. All teams will be eligible for the Overall
  7. To be eligible for the Mixed category, a team will need to consist of at least 4 individual female participants, running a minimum of one lap each, and at least 1 male participant, running at least one lap – the rest of the team can be filled with any gender.
  8. To be eligible for the Female category, a team will need to consist of female participants only.
  9. The fastest 3 Overall teams, the fastest Mixed team and the fastest Female team will be awarded after the race has finished, but if the race needs to be stopped for any reason the awards will only be presented to teams that have completed at least 5 laps.

RACE RULES

  1. Every team must complete 10 laps of the designated one-mile (1.6km) course.
  2. There can only be one participant per team on the course at any given time.
  3. Should any participant wish to walk instead of run during their lap, always keep to the side of the course to prevent blocking other participants.
  4. Your race baton contains your timing chip. Participants can only pass the baton by hand to their own team members, in the transition area, opposite the race pens - throwing, rolling or kicking the baton is not allowed.
  5. After handing the baton to their team member, the participant must immediately move into the Finish Area. The last participant must return their team baton to staff in the finish area.
  6. Each participant is required to display their bib number clearly throughout the race on the front of their t-shirt or vest.

No appeals are allowed. The Race Organiser’s decision is final.

Will there be an After-Party?

After the awards presentation in the Event Village, participants are invited to head to the Official After-Party at the The Argyle, only a short walk away!

​When and where is it taking place?

The Bloomberg Square Mile Relay Sydney 2022 will take place on Thursday 10th November. The race starts and finishes at Barangaroo Reserve.

What are the changing facilities?

There are no changing facilities on-site, so we recommend arriving ready to run.  There is a secure baggage drop where you can leave a small bag during the race.

Can spectators come into the Race Village?

Spectators are welcome, but please ensure you are not displaying any COVID-19 symptoms and are following government advice.

Will there be a race in Tokyo in 2022?

Unfortunately, the race will not be returning to Tokyo this year, but we would be excited to include the city as part of our Global Series once again in 2023. Keep an eye on our website for further updates and developments.
