Work together. Race together. Celebrate together.
The Bloomberg Square Mile Relay heads to Mumbai for the first time on Friday 15th March at Jio Garden.
This internationally-renowned annual event will provide the perfect opportunity for Mumbai’s top businesses to come together, as teams of ten employees each take turns to run the unique one-mile (1.6km) route, all in a bid to be crowned the fastest company in the city.
The race culminates with a celebratory after-party where runners and supporters will enjoy food, drinks and live entertainment throughout the evening in the Race Village. This is a fantastic opportunity for organisations to create and build team spirit, boost employee engagement and to promote an active lifestyle in the workplace.
Team places are limited, so be fast to confirm your place in the inaugural Mumbai event before 8th March. Please note that you can register your team today, with payment via invoice at a later date.

We are committed to making a difference beyond the finish line by contributing to a cause that’s important in your city. Through The Extra Mile, you can choose which cause our partner charity, Magic Bus, will support, using the power of sport to address social challenges in your city. The faster you run, the better the chance your cause has of receiving the donation.

The Extra Mile helps participants of the Bloomberg Square Mile Relay contribute to their city in a bigger, better way. We are delighted to be working with Magic Bus, as The Extra Mile Partner in 2019.
Magic Bus is one of the largest poverty alleviation programs in India, working with more than 375,000 children and young people in 22 States and 77 Districts of the country. In the last six years alone, Magic Bus has reached out to 923,000 children helping them move out of poverty. Our activity-based sessions are carried out across 798 schools and 1934 communities. In Mumbai, they work with some of the poorest children and young people living in poverty, taking them from a childhood full of challenges to a life with meaningful livelihoods using methodology that integrates sport, play and games. The long-term and sustainable outcome is that they equip these young people with the life skills and knowledge they need to grow up and move out of poverty.
For the 2019 Mumbai relay, US$20,000 will go to Magic Bus. Funds will be used to address the winning cause.
