Race postponement – Why was the San Francisco race postponed?

The health of our participants, spectators, volunteers, contractors and event staff is our top priority so considering the continued uncertainty of the Coronavirus outbreak in the city over the coming months, together with the advice from The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the California Department for Public Health (CDPH), it is with great regret that we have made the decision to postpone this year’s race until 2021. We appreciate this may come as disappointing news but we are sure everyone will understand and we very much look forward to welcoming our runners back to the race next year.
