The relay returns to São Paulo this August!

On Thursday 18^th August 2022, we welcome our third Bloomberg Square Mile Relay of the year at the Parque do Povo in São Paulo!

The last race was three years ago, prior to the pandemic, and saw ABN Amro lose their title to Itaú Unibanco, who claimed victory in a time of 59:33. Will they be able to hold onto their title as the fastest team in São Paulo once again? Will BNP Paribas reclaim their title as the fastest female team?

Teams of 10 runners will race one mile around the Parque do Povo and compete for one of the esteemed Bloomberg Square Mile Relay race trophies. Runners can also expect to contribute to our local charity partner Instituto Esporte e Educacao with every mile they run, thanks to our charity programme The Extra Mile.

“The sense of togetherness that the Bloomberg Square Mile Relay displays is second to none. The race always produces exceptional teamwork, healthy competition, and a thriving atmosphere which contributes to the mental and physical wellbeing of all participants.”
