The first race in New York saw over 500 corporates turn up to Run This City! Wells Fargo took the title with a winning time of 60:41, followed by Bloomberg <GO> in second place in 62:20 and hot on their heels in third place were Deutsche Bank finishing in 62:49.

Carl Daucher from Eris Exchange claimed the fastest individual trophy after completing the one mile (1.6km) route in an quick time of 5 minutes 12 seconds and setting the course record, which set the benchmark for all future runners of the Bloomberg Square Mile Relay in New York.
