Thank you to everyone that came down and took part in the 11th Bloomberg Square Mile Relay in London!
112 teams from the city’s biggest businesses took to the start line but it was J.P. Morgan that took the title, completing their 10 laps of the one-mile course in a time of 55:37 to lift the coveted trophy and become the ‘fastest firm in the city’!
Competing fiercely for top spot were six-time winners Barclays coming in second place in a time of 57:07 and Trayport finished third in 58:20. Individually, the fastest runner Austin Roth of J.P. Morgan, completed the one-mile route in a quick time of 5:05. The Fastest Mixed Team award, now in its second year, was won by On Running in a time of 1:00:35. The Bloomberg Square Mile Relay course is set to not only challenge the returning runners on the startline, but also offer a unique, fun and exciting route for first-time participants. Runners will have to twist and turn their way around the one-mile route, racing towards the finish line in the Guildhall Yard before handing on the baton to their teammate.
