Bloomberg Square Mile Club fitness tracker support

Here are the steps for connecting your tracker to the Bloomberg Square Mile Club app, via the following platforms:

Apple Health
Fitbit
UnderArmour (MapMyFitness)
Garmin Connect
Google Fit

Apple Health App Icon Apple Health

Connecting to Apple Health:

  1. In the Bloomberg Square Mile Club app Go to “settings”, then “Manage fitness tracker”
  2. Tap “Apple Health”
  3. Tap “Connect tracker”
  4. Accept the permissions when prompted

Apple Health troubleshooting:
What to do if your Apple Health data isn’t syncing to the app...

  1. In the Bloomberg Square Mile Club app, go to settings, then “Manage fitness tracker”
  2. Tap “Apple Health”
  3. Tap “Sync now”
  4. If your activity still doesn’t come through, visit your Apple Watch and check that your settings are set to share by going to “sharing”,”apps”, “Square Mile Club”, then tapping turn on all.
  5. Return to the Bloomberg Square Mile Club app and go to “settings”, then “Manage fitness tracker”
  6. Tap “Apple Health”
  7. Tap“sync now”
  8. Return to the dashboard and pull down to refresh
  9. Wait a few minutes, then check that your latest activity has synced

Fitbit App Icon fitbit

Connecting your fitbit device:

  1. In the Bloomberg Square Mile Club app, go to “settings”, then “Manage fitness tracker”
  2. Tap “fitbit”. - This will open an external page, accounts.fitbit.com
  3. Enter your fitbit account details and tap “Sign In”
  4. When prompted, ensure “Allow All” is ticked, then tap “Allow”
  5. fitbit should now show as “Connected” on the Bloomberg Square Mile Club app

fitbit troubleshooting:
What to do if your fitbit activity isn’t syncing to the app...

  1. In the Bloomberg Square Mile Club app, gto “settings”, then “Manage fitness tracker”
  2. Tap “fitbit” (this will disconnect your fitbit device)
  3. Follow the steps above to reconnect your device
  4. Tap sync
  5. Reopen the app and pull down to refresh
  6. Check your activity

UnderArmour/MapMyFitness App Icon UnderArmour (MapMyFitness)

Connecting to UnderArmour/MapMyFitness:

  1. Go to “settings”, then “Manage fitness tracker”
  2. Tap “”UnderArmour”
  3. This will open an external page, mapmyfitness.com
  4. Enter your MapMyFitness login details and tap “sign in”
  5. When prompted, tap “Authorize”
  6. UnderArmour should now show as “Connected” on the Bloomberg Square Mile Club app

UnderArmour troubleshooting:
What to do if your UnderArmour data isn’t syncing to the app...

  1. If an activity fails to save, navigate to the device app settings and then select “Unsynced Workouts”
  2. Tap on the activity to sync it
  3. If an activity is not here, we recommend manually adding it to our app

Garmin Connect App Icon Garmin Connect

Connecting your Garmin device:

  1. In the Bloomberg Square Mile Club app, go to “settings”, then “Manage fitness tracker”
  2. Tap “Garmin Connect” - This will open an external page, sso.garmin.com
  3. Enter your Garmin login details and tap “sign in”
  4. A permissions page will open; toggle “Activities” and “Daily Health Stats” to green and tap “save”
  5. When asked if you want to connect with Bloomberg Virtual Club, tap “Agree”
  6. If asked for permission to open another application, tap “Allow”
  7. The Bloomberg Square Mile Club app will open and Garmin will now show as “Connected”

Garmin troubleshooting:
What to do if your Garmin activity isn’t syncing to the app...

  1. In the Bloomberg Square Mile Club app, go to “settings”, then “Manage fitness tracker”
  2. Tap “Garmin Connect” (this will disconnect your Garmin device)
  3. Follow the steps above to reconnect your device
  4. Close the app
  5. Reopen the app and pull down to refresh
  6. Check your activity has synced

Google Fit App Icon Google Fit

Connecting to Google Fit:

  1. Go to “settings”, then “Manage fitness tracker”
  2. Tap “Google Fit”
  3. Tap “Connect tracker”
  4. Accept the permissions when prompted
  5. Google Fit should now show as “Connected” on the Bloomberg Square Mile Club app

Google Fit troubleshooting:
What to do if your Google Fit data isn’t syncing to the app...

  1. First, check that your settings on Google Fit are set to share - To do this, go to Google Fit app, Sharing, Apps, Square Mile Club, turn on all
  2. Return to the Bloomberg Square Mile Club app and go to “settings”, then “Manage fitness tracker”
  3. Tap “Google Fit”
  4. Tap “Sync now”
  5. Return to the dashboard and pull down to refresh
  6. Check that your latest activity has synced
